Fb recruiter unwilling to negotiate for newgrad

I have new grad offer from Fb, Twitter and 2 other companies. Of these, Twitter is currently offering the highest. When I spoke with my FB recruiter, he said for new grad, he is unable to negotiate. From the get go, the recruiter has been *very* slow to respond. What concerns me is that maybe the recruiter is not actively putting efforts here. FWIW, I have more than 3 years of experience in a top company before coming to US for my Masters. Twitter TC : ~220 (standard master new grad) FB TC : ~175

Yep, sounds like you can go to Twitter and move to FB in a year and they would give you a better deal. Do you mind sharing your salary breakup

Not enough yoe to negotiate. FB is right.

Microsoft Parkador Sep 30, 2018

Yoe before the US doesn't count. 240tc is too high for a new grad

I worked at a tier 1 company and my projects had high impact. Google is willing to consider me for L4. Don't see why FB shouldn't.

Where’s the google offer?

Twitter’s offer is good. Not like a fresh grad offer…

Twitter

Hate to be the one to break it to you but experience in India doesn’t count. For new grad the offer is solid but feel free to take Twitter if they’re willing to overpay. Nothing wrong with working there.

You already have a Twitter badge. Are you a returning intern to Twitter? If so, of course their offer is higher. They already spent a bunch of resources on you as an intern; may as well retain you.
