What would you need to click on Pay with PayPal instead of inputting your credit card details? PayPal memeber gets a lot of benefits, not just charge dispute, pay in 4 or pay monthly, interest-free payment for 6 months using PayPal credit. Serious question - what features would you like to see as a member of PayPal. #tech #paypal #google #e-commerce #lifestyle #Microsoft #apple #netflix #amazon #payments #finance
Do people still use PayPal?
Trade stocks. Cash app has been doing it for ages. Wonder why PayPal can't implement it.
We had a product called PayPal invest, but it was shelved because cash app loses alot of money on that product
“Cash app looses a lot of money” Only a looser company like PayPal would say that. Reason why they didn’t do it because it will take PayPal years to do it. Don’t forget PayPal hired a team for that and disbanded it when their stock crashed

As customer support or feature related?
UXR got laid off?
Yes, that's what I am asking too. Getting people to click paypal because people who use it effectively know its benefits once you login to pay with PayPal
The login system is getting an overhaul. Stay tuned you will be surprised how fast and efficient login is going to be.
Well, I don't trust Google when there are options. So, I use PayPal. Also, have the PayPal credit card. If I buy with PayPal and credit card, I get 3% cash back in any category.
Yes, there are alot of member feature paypal sucks at marketing those. But once you start using PayPal free member features it's quite spectacular
Context: Everytime I have to give a merchant my card number, I feel scared. Request: Can you make a feature to create any number of randomized cards for one time payments, so that I don't have to give someone my real card number (say small shops who accepts cards but nothing else)?
Yes. We have it it's called guest checkout if you input a new email id we will spin up a temp paypal account for you. That card you use in it will be linked to that email but it will be a guest checkout. And for your specific feature we had that feature earlier with Mastercard but it did not bring alot of revenue very niche usecase.
Plus I believe, card details are not being saved, they are in tokanized form kind of randomised form give to merchant
make it when i set my EUR card to use EUR instead of USD it actually fucking saves, and stop trying to charge me in USD with your bullshit fucking rates, i only use PayPal when it's the only option and will drop it as soon as it's no longer needed with user experience this fucking bad with theft levels of conversion pricing (a whole euro goes poof in a 20 usd to eur conversion?????)
This is interesting. Enable local currency based on the card rather than based on buyer location. But one thing we have to take in account is merchant country as well. It could be usd because merchant is in usa? If not that's a good point. And you will be charged similar amount in credit cards as well.
Last two times I used it I got screwed. Maybe fix that. Never had an issue with a credit card once I say the magic words “charge back”. You’re a lot less protected with PayPal regardless of what your marketing says.
Why? What happened?
A delete button that deletes the app from the AppStore
Ouch...
Yeah. They sound so desperate forcing you to click download app when you login on the website. Exactly like a shady Chinese service.
