Has anyone heard of Step.com ? It’s series A funded fintech. Wondering how is the comps product and what is the future. Stripe has funded last round . From what they offer, it doesn’t looks like anything special, but wondering if I’m missing something
I suppose a big argument for this platform or those similar, is that the call for financial literacy grows louder. If we see this push to to where parents have the kids “pay” for meals, groceries, clothes & toy shopping, etc. then they will better understand the concept of money at a younger age
Yea it’s hard to monetize for this age range unless your play is for the parents
Great start up. Looking for more comp related updates
Not all fintechs are equal. They are like chime, but targeted at kids.. chime makes money by people buying things using their debit card. I don’t see teens being as spendy as adults. They may have some pivot, but not really compelling
