Finance in oracle
Wondering pay level of ic4 in finance team at oracle. Read some negative comments from Glassdoor. Such as company not offering bonus and raises, which raises the question if it is truly like that. Any tip or info is much appreciated. Thanks.

avoid this company like plague... I have worked there for 3 years... did not get a single cent bonus or raise.. everything will be termed a cloud, although they have no clue what it means.. pros: good parking spot if you feel you want some rest in your career...

Got RSUs and raises every year since I joined, but cash bonus only once. There are also people in the same team who didn't get any promotion or salary hike in last 5 years, it's all about your performance.
Not always about performance though. I've seen no raises for good people, promotions for others, etc. So what OP heard is true to a large extent (and possibly not everyone's experience). At the same time, it's sucks worse in a lot of other companies. So, almost always, the decision is as much a function of where you come from as where you're headed.
If you have seen no raises for good people and promotion for others, then sadly the manager responsible for this is an incompetent a*hole. Oracle can be a retirement home where you can do bare minimum to get by, and don't expect any hike or promotion at all. But if you go above and beyond, you will be recognized. If you don't, switch to a different team.
