Working in QA/Automation, I've been transitioning to the front-end at work (mostly working on bug fixes, and small features) and working with a mentor on different projects (from mentor cruise) for a year (React, JS, HTML, Node.JS). The opportunity closed because of the current situation. I'm getting slammed with manual testing - not enjoying my work (only automation part) Is there any point in trying to find a job in the current market? My friend Sr. Engineer got laid off at Facebook and was looking for a job 4 months I'm considering also buying an online side business and also doing real estate investment (2 properties). Do you think it's better to wait and work on a side hustle? Experience: Test automation/QA - 6.5 years #engineering #software
