Firmware Engineering Interview

Last fall I interviewed onsite at Microsoft for a SWE internship. Long story short I didn’t get it. I’m trying again this fall for hardware engineering since I have much more experience with embedded systems. After searching google for interview questions I couldn’t really find anything. Does anyone know what is typically expected for a firmware or hardware engineering internship interview? I can’t really imagine them asking whiteboard questions like they do for SWE
