Wasn't the SEC opposed to classifying coins as securities? How can they be charged with securities fraud when the SEC doesn't even recognize these coins as securities? I mean, these coins aren't even registered as securities.
Yep. This was the first time the SEC labeled coins as securities…interesting.

Why are we Indians always looking to get rich quick? May be time for us to take ethics classes in school? I meant not all of us but alot of us
Insider stock trading -many white guys involved in the past ,I would say it’s more individual character things rather than specific community. Recent stock insider trading . Former U.S. Congressman Stephen Buyer has been charged with insider trading over purchases of shares in telecommunications company Sprint before it merged with T-Mobile US,
2008! financial crisis, trillion dollar bailouts - nobody went to jail. But every year an Asian or Indian guy gets charged with insider trading over a few million dollars. Insider trading is unethical and illegal, but the laws apparently don't apply to well connected people.
People keep saying how nobody from 08 crisis went to jail, but no crimes were actually committed. Yes the bankers exploited the system and loopholes but didn’t actually break any federal laws. It’s only afterward that they enacted all those new regulations to prevent a similar thing from happening again
That's very convenient. Crypto shit tokens have become securities in order to prosecute a few low level employees that happen to be brown. But no laws were broken when the whole financial system was brought down and trillion dollar bailouts were needed.
