I recently interviewed with Microsoft onsite. Fk this indian dude, he was a proud fella looking at me like im all weird and shit. He already judged me when i was explaining my thought process from the start. Like Microsoft is some kind of gig everybody wants to get into. Big LOL I've seen plenty of dudes like him doing their own Youtube vlogs on "how i got into Microsoft". watta proud-a$$ entitled mf This dude rejected me for senior software engineer and i got my final interview cancelled. Fk him and fk Microsoft and fk ppl like him w/ that attitude. I hope he gets laid off soon. And he's likely on blind, I hope he reads this post!! base 220k at startup
Yeah if the guy is Indian, youâre gonna have a difficult interview
not true though, maybe for maaang based companies
Are you okay?
i will be soon after my h00kup tonight
Looks like you look like a Chad, and this Rajesh has inferiority syndrome.
Race doesnât matter. I have seen condescending looks from all types of race and sub races like Indian, ABCD, white, Chinese etc. This mainly happens when you are trying to go from a no name company or from some small or mid sized to big tech. Not judging you or anything, just saying my experience in the past as I was interviewing at different big techs.
I agree, but what's ABCD?
american born chinese d? not sure though i actually always had good interviews with indians, just not with this dude
> already judged me all interviews work that way. the decision is made in the first 90s. the rest is exploring justification for the decision â either findjng fault or ignoring warning signs. you have done exactly the same with him. the difference is you have a slave mentality and rather than reject the interviewer you continue to try to please him, oh master. instead your attitude should be, whew â bullet dodged. plus youâre racist
you dodged a bullet. why so mad lol imagine working with folks like him on daily basis and having a boss like that 𤣠Also your current base is probably close to their TC for 63 already
microsoft pays that low? in my current job, im on a 2 year contract
msft pays that low. It is common knowledge on Blind. just ask around the pay range for 63/ 64 it wasnât worth your interview time unless they could make an out of band offerâŚ
Why data science guy interviewed u for a senior software engineer role?
he said he was in data science
Most applicants are rejected not because of their knowledge but their attitude, and from this post you clearly donât sound like a cultural fit. It doesnât matter if you are a genius if people wonât want to work with you bc of your personality. Remember, MSFT didnât ask you to join, you are asking MSFT to consider your application to fill a position.
The candidate is also interviewing the company, culture, and coworkers as much as the employer is interviewing the candidate. Too many insecure people in hiring forget this dynamic.
Insecure, arrogant with fragile egos.
he wasnt a manger, he was pretty young though, he was unlike my first round interviewer who had a daddy figure
What is WASP?
Same thing. Bad experience with Indian engineers at Microsoft. Some rounds seemed like an ego trip. One of the dudes flexed that he had more experience than me although I just asked him how his past experience helped him in his current work.
he didnt flex but he was definitely a jerk, maybe insecure
