Do you really feel special in your Tesla?
Why would he even post this? This make him look so bad as well. Was he and other board members sleeping?
Radical ulra hardline transparency This let's him fire some more people!
The guy is a pos. He thought he can get sweet salary as a chairman. Veto from time to time. Suggest an idea from time to time. Play VC for the most part and just stack cash.
I am guessing this is why Dave Clark got fired
The irony…lmao. Dave Clark was pushed out at Amazon after massively expanding delivery/ops cap investment (I mean masssively). Apparently he decided that pandemic-era demand was the new normal. That policy directly contributed to hiring freezes and layoffs in 2022.
Dave Clark and his cronies are the most overrated execs potentially in the 21st century so far. The only reasons amazon expanded post 2011 was because of $$$ from AWS. It still to this day loses billions. If you split amazon operations from AWS it would go bankrupt
Flexports been consistently ham-fisted with their firings.
Flexport joins my list of companies to never work at.
Good move
Mind giving us a look at this list. ?
Oops, sorry doesn't cut it when you quit another job to join Flexport. It also does not appear any remuneration is being offered.
That’s why you shouldn’t quit your old job until after you start your new job.
You could laid off 2 weeks into your new job. Never quit your old job.
Didn’t he only just step back in to a ceo role yesterday?
Yeah, it’s too much to ask for people on blind to actually know what the fuck they’re talking about.
He was still on the board
smh whatever happened to taking full responsibility? /s so clueless
Most founders are arseholes.
Only true sociopath and clinical psycopath can become ceo
@Bloomberg True for 99%. Seen some who aren’t.
Someone fucked up big time. And that sucks. My guess is the recruiters were aware of the freeze but kept quiet and kept hiring to meet their targets or whatever till someone told them to stop. Someone should have raised the flag and said "what about these roles, it seems obvious we should close them but nobody has so far asked us to. What do we do here?". And the ceo was not competent enough to check their own career site to make sure their hiring has actually stopped. But given the fuck up has happened, the post itself seems ok to me. It's clean and straight forward without pretending to show too much fake emotion. I do worry a leadership team that isn't competent enough to execute a hiring freeze is good enough for anything.
Come on. You build this story based on your imagination instead of just checking flexports news. New CEO came from Amazon, did a mess, and then Ryan had to fire him and step back in yesterday.
Does it say why they hired though? Like OK the Amazon guy didn't check the portal but this fuck up can only happen due to incompetence, Ryan or whoever else
How’s hinge? Do you get free roses
