I heard about that from a friend as well. I defintely know design folks were let go , not sure about engineering though.

Flexport is software that no one asked for. Because of this, they can’t figure out what they are and how to operate. A saas business? Services? Agent?
Software? Lol, that's why you know nothing about Flexport:)
Same can be said for many non-software companies. Our strategy is pretty sound, we just need to operate with the amount of efficiency needed to 5x or more so we can move up market. Where are you getting your sources of reference?
Not a bad news, cut non-tech ppl and turning growth driven to be more profitable.
Didn't engineers get fired? Also how do you feel as engineer if anyone else is getting fired?
Haven't heard about any engineer get fired. Actually we just hired bunch of engineers recently
