So almost all Deliverr Senior Leads are leaving Flexport! What’s going on there? #flexport #shopify #deliverr
So… jobs are available??
My guess: post covid reversion to the mean
Layoffs incoming?
Sounds like the flexport I know
How do you know? Is there any source?
Ceo left?
Yes, CEO left, but most likely got fired, but they let him save face and say he is resigning. In less than a yr. Dave laid off 20% of the business but hired a lot of executives. Less than 5k employees, but there are VPs reporting to VPs. I don't think they ever hired their CTO, and they lost part of their main business to Amazon.
Is Flexport dying lol
Dodged a bullet. They rejected me a few months ago for SWE.
Same. Gave me bad feedback and said I’m not qualified too. Little did they know I’m making 300k as a mid level lmao
Yaicks. Jokes on them haha
Likely up to 30% people may be let go. Maybe not in one shot but in the next few weeks.
Flexport do you have some more information on why you think so? I'm considering an offer from them, so I'd really appreciate any info you have. Don't want to get screwed by joining and then immediately being let go.
we have a billion on hand. the total expenses are very high, to the tune of at least half of cash could be gone by end of year if we keep on going this way. so cuts are expected across the board, guiding mantra is profits and growth, cut down waste. Not too different from meta. But there will be anxiety for sure
where are they headed?
I think OP means that Deliverr employees are ex-Flexport?
