Have two offers in hand - Swe2 in flexport TC ~320k (approx 100k in rsu) 4 year vesting Vesting after 1 year then quaterly No 401k or espp Senior Swe in Autodesk TC ~248k 3 year vesting period Vesting after 1 year then quaterly 401k matching and espp Got both offers last week Flexport is higher for TC but mostly paper money. Bit confused on which one to pick. Has there been any layoffs in Felxport or Autodesk or if any internal news of future layoffs
Depends on what your interests are. I think Flexport has huge upside but I’m obv biased.
Hi, if you work at Flexport, can you please DM me? I am unable to DM you. Thanks
Offer details? When did you get the offers?
Done
Flex port all the way. Better TC, more opportunity to learn and get deep experience. At Autodesk it’ll be more enterprise, you’ll work on smaller pieces. And thats the pay you’re stuck with for a LONG time.
Flex port is in growth mode but Dave Clark is a hard task master - if you like to go hard at work, flexport. Otherwise autodesk
Not for engineering so far. If you're applying to work in one of our warehouses, then yeah, get ready for a hard time.
Why is this in layoffs
Where should I put it then?
Flexport, and don't think it's close (but I work here). :)
Can you please DM me? I am unable to do so. Thanks a lot
Yoe?
Do a poll
How was the interview experience? 320k for SDE2 is very good pay. I thought that pay range is for sr.sde.
So what did you choose, and why?
