Since G and F have free food, is the food quality lower than Amazon and Apple which make you pay? Or are the latter just cheapskates and it would cut their profit margin in half if they dare have free food?
Microsoft Sunnyvale didn't offer free food and then started offering to people in that campus and people there said the food improved once it was free
What about Seattle? Is it free there?
Ha! I wish...
Why did you tag Amazon? We only have 🍌
Because a 🍌 in 🖐🏻 is better than 🍌 🍌 in the 🌳
Op is asking if the paid food is better tasting than free food
The food at the Amazon cafeterias isn't even that good. It's not subsidized much, if at all, either.
How is free food at Nutanix? How does it compare to FAANG?
My food during apple and Uber interviews was neither bad nor good. I assume that's what you get with any food on that scale.
You can’t pay rent with free food no matter how good it tastes. @ Amazon Cafes, food is meh. I’m usually focused on what’s next, don’t even think about it
You cant pay rent but you can save a solid $300 a month or $3.6k a year with free food vs paying $10/meal
Apple in Seattle has free food two days a week and it's pretty good. G food was ok, but FB food was amazing and way better than G.
What org at Apple?
One Apple Seattle org has it. Not the entirety of Seattle employees
Dropbox has the best food by a mile. Google is ok, Amazon’s about the same but not free.
Have you tried Fb? So far Fb has been the best for me, but I haven't tried Dropbox
Dropbox’s cafeteria had a Michelin Star once upon a time. I haven’t tried FB yet though.
FB quality is superb. I am a foodie and was super impressed.

PM is irrelevant role and will die in next 2-3 years.
Food at Google is pretty average, at least in mountain view.
