My team owns a huge amount of web apps, Micro services, automation tools, develops some new ones in OCI. There are atleast 10 technologies (old to new) which these apps are built on. Manager keeps randomly assigning tasks from any of these in a given sprint. I'm simply not allowed to stick to one or two. And also not assigned the new projects, as top management does not easily approve new features. It's become 90% maintainance and just 10% new features. Crazy discrimination in the team. Some are just allowed to stick to one or two technologies. Others are moved around randomly. Unable to perform any task in the assigned time, because of this. No help as usual. Not easy to hop like a frog. How to negotiate a single project or tech to work on? TC 230k

Which team?
Some people like depth some like breadth. Let your manager know you want to go deep in a particular skill. Neither of that option is bad for your career.
