Do you really feel special in your Tesla?
My team owns a huge amount of web apps, Micro services, automation tools, develops some new ones in OCI. There are atleast 10 technologies (old to new) which these apps are built on. Manager keeps randomly assigning tasks from any of these in a given sprint. I'm simply not allowed to stick to one or two. And also not assigned the new projects, as top management does not easily approve new features. It's become 90% maintainance and just 10% new features. Crazy discrimination in the team. Some are just allowed to stick to one or two technologies. Others are moved around randomly. Unable to perform any task in the assigned time, because of this. No help as usual. Not easy to hop like a frog. TC 230k
Hop to a different team? Outside is difficult
What does manager say about this feedback?
Does not engage in a fair and open conversation. Skip entangled in politics, skip's manager and my manager are in agreement through nepotism
Then you need to consider moving teams. Everything about your role as a software engineer is built on the foundation of a functional relationship with your peers. If you do not have that you cannot operate well. Everything you do will be bandaids on the symptoms and not addressing the real cause.
Protip stop crying about it
