How did you get the timing right to have 4 simultaneous offers?
took a week off from work and scheduled all the interviewed during that
Microsoft or Bloomberg. I chose MSFT for the brand value. It has more value today than 10 years ago. But I also don’t like c# and their .Net platform. You will tied to it while you’re there. Bloomberg, I’m unsure about their stack but I have met smart people from BB. But they don’t have stocks from your offer so I’m unsure. Expedia — money is less. Atlassian — Decent money but unsure about internal growth. MSFT and BB both have a large volume of teams so internal movement will be better.
My techstack is C# - BB team is also C# with some micro services. MSFT is the Edge OS team- dont know the tech stack yet Expedia is micro services and sounds like fun work Atlassians work is going to be boring for a year but hopefully be working on Atlassians techstack after a year- also got down leveled Trying to learn something other than C# and looking for micro services experience
Hmmm… Expedia isn’t paying you a lot of money. Did you apply to Amazon? They are paying well and believe me you will find a team with almost every tech stack under sun.
Atlassian 150k rsu per year?
Across 4 years
Microsoft for WLB and use competing offers to reduce lowball
Hi congrats on your offers! Would you mind sharing your prep for coding and sys. design? Were most of your coding questions medium difficulty? Thank you in advance.
Hi OP, congrats. Could you share what were the questions like at Bloomberg onsites?
P3 at Atlassian is entry level. Is that a typo?
Prolly downleveled..Atlassian is doing that a lot recently
