Fragomen preliminary assessment for Intel
I have gotten a verbal offer from Intel, and received a background check email followed by an immigration questionnaire. My visa status is F1 STEM OPT. Does anyone have an idea of how long the assessment take and how long I can get the official offer? #intel #fragomen

It can take anything between 3 days to 3 weeks it depends on how thorough it is. Just curious does Facebook not convert contractors ?
Never see the direct convert for software engineer in the past 2 years.

How much time does you have for OPT?
Less than 1 yr.
Follow up with your recruiter and don't stop job hunting. I used to have a verbal offer when I was in OPT with less than 1 year. One week later they took it back and some friends told me Fragomen thought it was risky as only one H1-B lottery chance and made the suggestion to HM. Things can be different now but stay vigilant
Fragomen takes more than 2 weeks to just convert I140 to Premium Processing by filling out 1 form. 😊
Fragomen says they need 2 business days to answer a yes or no question and it is their policy to not answer before that!
Is it appropriate for me, potential to-be Intel employee, to ask Fragomen to expedite the processing?
