Hello! I’m a marketing strategy manager at Disney in DPEP. Would it be a fairly easy transition to Product Management? I’m interested in tech and have experience developing strategies based on data, working with cross-functional teams, building decks, presenting to executives, etc. I am fairly technical as well with some basic HTML, CSS and SQL experience. Also have an MBA.
I am a product marketing manager, I would advise you to jump into product marketing as a first step to get familiar with working with the product team roadmaps product launches etc.
I would be interested in chatting. I am thinking of writing content on how people can transition into PM and PMM and also how to thrive. Applying PM PMM concepts to our own careers.
Awesome! I’d love to connect. Not sure if we can private message on here…

What makes you interested in going into Product?
I like more technical topics, and see it as a great way to break until tech. Some companies also have product marketing managers, which interests me too.
