So I've been in the team match phase for over a year now, another post someone was in for 2 years. What's the longest team match you've seen? Longest team match and still someone finally got an offer? Edit: PM TC 170k
Pip sucks, but if you’ve been in team match, that shows they’re not interested. It’s the equivalent of a woman not texting you back
Amazon pays only 170k to PM? Is that base or TC?
That’s TC (not base) for an L5 PM.
Amazon separates tech and non tech PM, PM-T is paid higher.
Have you passed HC already?
Yes, finished that last Septemberish
How do you know if you passed HC?
It takes forever and then they ask you to re interview
did you get an extension on interview expiration? For SWE the 1 year deadline is rarely extended.
I did get an extension they said so still in team match no need to reinterview
Forget google dude. Google is dead
Doesn't answer your question, but thought I'd post here and share my story if anyone else comes across this thread. The original GCP team I was going to join ended up getting the role filled by a Xoogler before I could complete the on-sites. After completing on-sites, I **optimistically** entered the TM limbo (early Q3 last year). Fast forward to now, I've met with 5 or 6 teams already. All feedback is either cryptic, based on location, or they decided to pass for an internal transfer. I still have a ways to go before I hit the 1-year mark, but I'm becoming increasingly jaded. FWIW my recruiter is diligent, timely, and very responsive, so I lucked out there. PM TC 180k, NYC
Same here. Role no longer available after onsite
Same. Passed interview loop in October and in team matching ever since due to role being filled. I've had 4 match calls so far, and all felt like they went well. Oh well, maybe someday... On the plus side, my recruiter has also been great.
Move on. Google is dead bruh. We numbah one ☝️ now.
Bout to get Pipped out, had this in the back burner forever so like my linkedin contacts I'm contacting them out of the blue for an update
