Fuck Turo
Just got a message from Turo (the car rental app) where they are claiming that I smoked in the car. The host has uploaded a few pictures where there are white dust on the flooring of the car. There is no other dust anywhere other on the flooring where your shoes stay. I have no record of smoking nor would I ever think someone would be a dick and falsely accuse me of smoking. How to you prove you don’t smoke when you don’t smoke?
I think the crappy thing is it’s not really possible to tell which rider it was. The only way to protect yourself is to immediately report you smell smoke when you get into the car. That way you can be sure someone before you will get charged. If I even smell a hint of anything I report it before driving away. But also you should be able to dispute it with them.
There is no smell or smoke when I get the car. Nor is there any when I leave the car. The host didn’t say anything about smoke in the chat either. Simply claims with pictures of white stuff on the floor.

Turo sucks for normal rental cars. Just use normal car rental companies, I’m sure Amazon gives nice discounts too. Just like Airbnb, only good for more exotic locations. I never stay at Airbnb’s anymore either.
Just go with Enterprise. Half of the cars you’ll step into on the lot will reek of weed
Bruh why are you using Turo. Amazon’s Avis code is super lit and you can get rentals for $25/day. Add on President’s Club benefits and you can basically rent any Avis car for $25/day. Fk Turo

If I was at Amazon when I rented Turo I would definitely have used the code.
Get a blood test to prove no nicotine in your system and use that proof when you sue Turo/car owner for $$
Nicotine leaves your blood after 3-4 days. So it shows I don’t smoke for at least 3-4 days.
It's still a good argument to use. Most people who smoke, do it more frequently than every 3-4 days.
