Got two offers - left prior job a bit ago - I’m a machine learning scientist with an MSc and research experience at a top uni. TC is almost identical - Fujitsu hits mid 70s including a series of bonuses whereas UBS is base 80 with no guaranteed bonus but Glassdoor indicates bonus could be substantial. UBS is a quant role - I live down the road from the office but doesn’t seem as ML focussed. Fujitsu is MLE in consulting but needs some travel despite being fully remote (office is also not in city I live) and security clearance. Just curious which would be better career progression and which blind would go for / any insights on either role - I get neither are FAANG but nature of the market at the moment in the UK. New TC: £80k YOE: 2
Which one did you opt for?

Why doesn't OpenAI offshore and reduce expense by 80%
Tell the TC number or we cannot judge
Both 80 - issue is Fujitsu includes a series of two bonuses to hit that UBS hits it in base salary.
