If I were to optimize for WLB at a fully remote gig, with the only stipulation that I can make >100k as a SWE with 6 yoe, which companies should I apply to? Some ideas: Intel SAP Walmart ServiceNow(?) Any others? Maybe non-tech big companies like Starbucks etc? TC: 200+series D startup equity, 6 yoe
If you are okay with 100K range pay try Optum. Very good WLB and our stock is doing fantastic.
Any place would pay a SWE with 6 yoe more than 100k

And their WLB is good? I heard really bad stories about them
Yup, it's very good. You'll always hear bad things about every place in the world. I consider Veeva very nice.
Walmart is good WLB, depending on team (look for innovations teams etc with no on call). However remote is tough for Walmart
