Pretty sure I’m rejecting this but wanted to hear from others first. These are the negotiated numbers. If I did try to negotiate again what strategy should I use? Base: $240k RSUs: 125k/year Bonus: 48k Sign-on: 50k (Edited) Offer was updated without me saying anything Base: 240k RSUs: 175k/yr (updated) Bonus: 48k Sign on: 60k (updated) It’s better but I want to hear how far I can push this. Current TC: 450k
Garbage
This is either NOT E6 or NON-tech. Or a troll post.
Absolute peanuts
This sucks fur balls. E6 should be 200K/yr minimum
I know. Especially with stock at ATH —it’s pretty shit. Was thinking to go to fyi levels and send an email to my recruiter the $200k+/year RSU posts from E6s that have similar YOE. Good idea or just reject the offer?
Is this LCOL?
Location?
HCOL
Not a great offer. Not sure why they are even giving L6. How was the interview? And what role is it? Non-tech?
Interviews went well. They came back in less than 1 week saying they were going to come back with an offer. It’s tech.
Yoe?
12 years
E6 seems logical but compensation too low, ask more
Go for it. The updated offer is great 👍
OP, have you considered getting professional negotiation help from levels.fyi or some such service?
Haven’t considered it. Have you tried or know someone who did and to what extent it helped?
I haven’t tried it yet. But I would given the sheer amount of money at stake.
What org? For SWE this is more like a high E5 offer.
