GM layoffs got a severance?
Trying to gather as much information as possible if I were laid off. GM seems like they’re doing rounds of layoffs disguised as VSP or closing down plants etc (no one is safe). Are those individuals who are getting laid off getting severances?

what are you talking about? UAW affects only blue collar jobs, not our R&D jobs
They’re likely going to do rounds of layoffs in disguise as cutting costs to afford the strike demands. It’s a common practice. So expect white collar layoff rounds coming. Just need to know if they got a severance and if so, how many months?
