What all technologies should i be adept at if i want to work as a backend engineer. I have good coding skills but have worked only as a Data Scientist or a software engineer in firmware. All KindSouls please help
To get hired as a backend engineer? Sharpen your leetcode skills using at least one widely used general purpose language. I’m assuming you have python experience so thats a good start, Go and/or Java work too. The bigger part of being a backend engineer is developing how you think about, design, and implement distributed systems. A dry but solid book is ‘designing data-intensive applications’ which would be a good start.
I'm more of a C++ person. Python just for work and C++ for coding
Thanks for your elaborate answer, will surely look up the book
