What is the typical gap between Intuit phone screen and onsite interview ? Is it ok to ask for more time to prepare - how much is an acceptable ask ? #tech #intuit #intuitcareers #interview TC - 135K
From my experience, a solid candidate that I screen sees an on-site in less than 2 weeks. It's up to you to confirm your availability. You could make something up about being unavailable to push it out, but you risk the req getting fulfilled
Got it .. Thank you!
Also keep in mind...some companies (like Intuit) will shuffle reqs around the BUs if they don't get filled fast enough. So if you are shooting for a specific role on a team, and it sits open too long, the hiring manager will lose it. I'm coming from interviewing ~50ish engineers from SWE1 to principal/eng manager and have lost multiple reqs. What level are you shooting for? SWE1 and SWE2 are handled a little differently than the rest

I am starting to think Chinese interviewers currently fail non-Chinese candidates on purpose.

Cleared Amazon onsite, but lowballed.
Usually recruiters fine with 2 to 4 weeks. Unlikely but possible to get up to 10 weeks time.
Ok Thanks for the input! If we scheduled onsite interview more than 4 weeks (ex - 6 Weeks), is it possible someone will get recruited in between this time ?
If it is a team specific then someone might fill position. If it is org level, usually they will have many positions and no need to worry about someone filling the position.
