Gemini Disastrous PR
We all know this week has been a new low for Google’s already disastrous PR. You might be thinking how can this happen when you have a huge legal/marketing team overseeing this. Let me tell you why: Nobody within Google dares to call this out without being retaliated by DEI or getting labeled “racist”. Google did a lot of dogfooding and nobody dared to call this out and if they did, leadership would just sweep it under the rug. Google’s has an internal meme place call memegen, it’s like the last place where Googlers can say the truth within the company. You can see people bashing stupid Google policy and even making fun of Sundar’s vision. But you don’t see a single meme talking about the Gemini PR disaster or even if there was it wasn’t trending within memegen. Sometimes I even think Sundar has no power to do anything about the out of control DEI too. This really says how Google is being killed by what it bred. It so sad to see a once great company failing so fast. DEI is important but not to the point where you try to twist the truth.

This is totally fucked up. Is dealing with system racism important? Yes! But that does not mean changing history or facts.

I feel bad for Googlers that are sucked into this chaos. There’s still a lot of them that knows this is so wrong but can’t do anything about it because our leadership is so weak.
I wonder if this the regular content all across that has been infected with so much DEI-ness that Google’s Gemini AI engine has to unwind DEI-ness to blurt out more balanced output. Gemini seems sinister in its current form!!

It’s so absurd. If it were any other company I’d assume it’s a publicity stunt (everyone’s posting Gemini images everywhere , and downloading the app to try it) But not at G haha. They just Effed up

Googlers are too spoiled. Lots are rich for decades already and the next thing on their needs list is virtue signaling and doing good, the money need is long taken care of. The CEO probably rised up by appeasing people, not by being hungry and ruthless.
Hmm, how much Sundar would have a say in building Gemini’s algorithms as well the content it devours? 🤔
