Anyone interviewing at Gemini? I’m on the platform side. Network automation. Spoke to in house recruiter. Comp seems good 250-300k base. Thoughts?
How many yoe?
20
How? Most offers on Glassdoor are 140k.
I saw the same thing etc is what compelled me to write this post. Are they legit open to this range or are they going to run me through the gauntlet and low ball me
It's possible, not sure if they are asking you to do a take home. but yea lots of candidates reject based on that requirement alone, so they might be trying to entice more people to do it. Personally I don't think Gemini is a good company and would not waste time interviewing here when the market is so hot right now.
My experience with Gemini is that a recruiter reached out to me, agreed on a 10 AM PST phone call, he called me at 10 AM ET (7 AM PST) and I was asleep. He left me a passive aggressive voice mail then ghosted me lol So yea, I would say they're top-notch professionals over there! Lol
Yea we have lots of people in charge who are passive aggressive and emotionally immature
it's like the titanic here, everyone who is able to secure an offer elsewhere are fleeing this ship wreck. we got this fourth rate investors to price us at 7B but no one internally thinks this will end well. employees do not get equity, we have PIUs which doesn't need to be honored in a liquidity event.
What is a PIU? Never heard of that term.
Thank you for honesty
Poo?
Did you interview yet or just do the take home test so far?
Is Gemini still worth looking into? How's the engineering?
No.
I got an offer in Gemini London. Looks like they are setting up a new team in London Base - £120k 10% bonus 5000 PIU Is it worth
How is the work culture and everything
For what level? What's the equity like?
Didn’t get that far. Was more focused on cash comp.
Was an IC role - Sr network engineer
