Google is often praised for its employee-friendly culture, where employees feel empowered to voice their opinions and participate in company decisions as if they were stakeholders. This open culture allows for candid criticism of upper management, which can sometimes lead to management acquiescing to employee demands. In my opinion, this situation at Google may be indicative of a lack of assertiveness in upper management. I recently watched a video featuring Jen Gennai from Google on X, which I found to be quite astonishing. https://x.com/mattwalshblog/status/1760761832007209439?s=46 Full thread: https://x.com/mattwalshblog/status/1760761825308639611?s=46 On the other hand, Jeff Bezos' "disagree and commit" philosophy, as discussed in the Lex podcast, presents a contrasting approach. Despite some negative perceptions of Amazon on platforms like Blind, Bezos' method might be more effective for managing large organizations. It emphasizes the importance of leadership making decisions and moving forward, even when there is not complete consensus among employees, who may not always have the broader perspective necessary for strategic decision-making. #tech #Google #LLM #gemini Should Pichai step down?

Who are these retards asking for dictatorship in India?
There are 2 reasons for that fiasco 1. stupidity 2. racism
Typical L3 logic. DEI at Google is top down and not bottom up.
Why is it being pushed top down? There are no no posts/activities from Sundar during his pre ceo days that suggest he is far left, and is pushing his political views.
It's due to leadership, period. From what I've seen, DEI is mostly enforced from the top. As an employee, people simply want to be good to others while not overthinking the ways things are normal to them, might be mistaken for something bad. However, due to DEI being enforced from the top, everyone is kinda forced to overthink and overdo, and mostly engage in stupid things. No one literally cares and wants to care. Sadly, the same thing is prevalent in many companies and in our societies as well. Today, instead of making a diverse person feel indifferent, everyone feels different due to the way everything takes place.
It’s a woke nonsense because of the type of political bias that leadership hires to make decisions
amzn is a shit hole for employees.
I would not use Amazon as a good example. The only way I would ever join Amazon is if they are the only company left in my city.
