Getting Rejected Left and Right
Getting Rejected Left and Right. All these companies are saying they’re hiring, but I get rejected left and right. I even try to show how my previous roles connect to the role they’re hiring for. I tried to apply as a technical account manager / account manager. I mentioned, how I dealt face to face with clients, and how my ultimate goal was to make sure they were satisfied. To the max of our abilities as an organization of course. It has served me well and i’ve had tremendous feed back from higher ups and external clients. Anyway, that is only one aspect. I don’t brag about that in my resume as that is something that might help during interview process, but I don’t seem to even get a chance at an interview. Right now, living the life working at an overnight parking garage trying to make ends meet. I’m still at my current role, but it is on a 1099 basis. Help, i’m giving up 😔.

It’s super difficult right now. Have you tried getting interviews through your networks?
May I ask what you mean by “Networks”? Various people mentioned referrals, but there seem to be all these openings and no one hiring? I go for bottom feeder jobs. I’m not prideful. I’ll go for a $50-60K position, if they’re going to give less than that then they don’t really care about my socioeconomic well being.
Like a referral from a friend who works at so and so company.
