Hi, I’m curious to know how people that work for Disney start out. Do most folks start via DCP and professional internships? do alot of people start as contractors and get converted? I am searching towards postions with a focus on project controls. Is it chatting with a recruiter the best way? is working for disney as exciting as it seems? thanks!
Careful here, it’s a Mickey Mouse organization.
You have to sneak in phallic objects into your portfolio, projects, papers, graphs, etc.

Source? My offer from Disney is quite good
I’m starting in about two weeks. Went through TEKsystems recruiter in Orlando
Look like Hemsworth!
I started as a professional intern and was brought back as a full time employee.
Did you start in DCP? Or just applied straight to the professional internships?
I went straight to the professional internship

Is it worth leaving behind 75LPA in India for an offer of $185k in Bay Area?
I was a contractor once with Disney. As a contractor you get really good money. But no perks like free Disney tickets, insurance etc. I did not convert to full time since there is a pay cut involved. My manager offered me to convert full-time though it is pretty hard in Disney
