My wife is a full stack SWE on H1-B and wants to take a break to deal with burnout and some health issues by switching to H4. Her current company is being insanely slow to get her GC rolling taking 4+ months to start even the trivial first steps of PERM. Sticking it out at current company for GC doesn't make sense of us as Indian citizens. She has about 20 months left on her H-1B. Are there non-FAANG but legit companies in California that hire people with 20 months left on H-1B and no i140? #workvisa #h1b
Same question, but how about 7 months left on h1b, is it still possible?
Does Nordstrom is such a bad company ? I have an interview coming up. Do they process GC?
I'm in a different company now, left Nordstrom while in perm stage, had to start all over. They do process GC after 1 year, depending on negotiation.
If I were you I would have left the job in 1 month. Don’t waste time working for a fake person. *life rules at h1b**
I got hired with 18months left and no I-140. Unfortunately maxing out before I-140 and traveling back to India.
Did they not start your green card process as soon as you joined? What was your GC timeline? are you returning to India for good or will your company extend H1B after i140 is approved?

Biden wants to raise capital gains tax to 40%
Man I know a person who’s manager took 2 years to even write a job description for PERM. Why waiting so late ? Any personal reasons?
