Been to 3-4 on-sites, but got rejected from them. Feedback is always like did well, but not well enough, for the level you are applying to. But nothing specific about what i lacked. so how is one supposed to improve, if we dont exactly know what we need to improve. Getting tired of getting rejected and not even have the opportunity to improve myself for the next company. Absolutely useless feedback, if they bother provide it. Some dont even bother to do that after wasting your time on take homes/telephonic and on-sites.
do you have recommended online mock service ?
Pramp.com Interviewing.io Just Google/Bing :)
Yah it’s hard to handle a bunch of rejections in short time. I couldn’t sleep well until I got my first offer. Keep the faith, learn from your failure, and keep going. You will get it eventually.
Learning is hard, when you don't know the gaps you need to fill
Yah it sucks. Sometimes it’s not about you, but just some guys did perfectly in that interview batch.
Try asking for feedback in the actual interview.
Even by the low bar set by advices on blind, this is the worst. Only do this if you want to come off as insecure and needy.
I wouldn't consider it insecure or needy knowing how frustrating interviews are.
I'm in the same boat. Recently interviewed with 2 companies. Recruiters from both said the "feedback" was great but, still got rejected with no reason as to why. Just have to keep interviewing until something sticks.
In some cases I'd rather them say "actually they hated you". At least then it's a clear loss and you move on. "Almost" making it sometimes feels worse. To me at least.
Telephonic
Companies will never provide you feedback. Please do some mock interviews with friends or online. Start from free but also invest in some good paid interviews. Hope this helps.
Facebook provided me feedback
Facebook never provided any specific feedback to me. I was so sure that i did well and will get in, and then comes the rejection mail
