Gifts between husband and wife
I make it a point to give my wife gifts for her birthday and our anniversary every year. I don’t expect it really but just escaped my mind that she hasn’t gifted me anything in any of my previous 15 birthdays and anniversaries we have been together with. Is this generally the case between couples? Just curious..
It's the case for me, usually I just get the cake. I think it's normal and I don't really care.

She asks my kids to wish me happy birthday though but she doesn’t wish me

We get gifts for each other’s birthdays and Xmas. Just cards for VDay and anniversary.
My wife gets really mad if she doesn’t get a gift on her birthday, valentine’s day , anniversary, and on many other Indian festivals. She gets angrier when I give her a gift because she usually doesn’t like it. She get’s angry again if instead I decide to take her to shop whatever she wants as a gift. Basically I have tried everything I can.
She wants to be gifted in the bed and emotionally. Your material wealth doesn't show her the love she needs.
I agree with your emotional and in the bed part but did you even read my message ? I think I clearly mentioned that she demands material gifts and gets mad if she doesn’t get any material gift.

Yes we both gift each other. Generally her gift to me is more expensive. I need to step up and buy a rock one of these days

Mine just remember to tell me happy birthday and grab me a cake. Other than that I don't really expect anything
