GoDaddy compensation expectations in Seattle
What’s the expected TC in GoDaddy for senior software engineer ? I can’t seem to find much information anywhere. Also how’s the company overall? For career growth, money and learning, is it better than msft?

I’m happy at GoDaddy, though I don’t have msft experience for comparison. It’s smaller than msft so there’s greater opportunity for impact and growth, and for having your feedback listened to to help influence the culture. A tradeoff is that our customer base is much smaller than Microsoft’s. Not sure how comp compares but I’ve heard it’s lower at GoDaddy. It’s worth it to me for the growth opportunities and work/life balance here.
What can you share about the culture at GoDaddy? How does it compare to other places you may have been? Where are you located? Are you in the Phoenix area or the Bay Area?

If you search for a domain they will buy it before you can and attempt to sell it back to you for thousands as a “premium domain “. They constantly alter subscriptions and inflate costs after purchase. And more. Just google them.
