I have 9+ yrs of experience and I got job offers as Senior Data Engineer in Lowe's Data Engineer in GoDaddy. TC is almost the same ($130k+bonus) for both except the equity and benefits. Need help on whre Lowe's stands in terms of Bigdata development and cloud vs GoDaddy really appreciate any help to decide on the offer.
Alot of our real time streaming use cases are done in Apache Beam which is pretty interesting compared to most ETL and batch processing (which currently utilizes a whole laundry list of different tech). We're an AWS shop and your actively encouraged to utilize the products so if your interested in anything cloud related it's a good opportunity for it. Godaddy overall is a pretty good company to work for it's laid back and chill but if you really want to push yourself and career forward there's team's where you can def be a workaholic lol. Plus we're a tech company not a cost center so that's something to keep in mind.
Thanks for the info..
That’s a good info..how are the pay-bands?

Is meta really worth the wait?
Big data is a meme and you shouldn’t take a job because they “big data”.
Agree.. Jus checking on that as the interviw focus was more on that area.. What factors would you consider and which one do you recommend?
