I am reading about server side programming and stuff with goal in mind to deploy web apps and eventually cloud apps. Is Golang really a better choice( in terms of performance, scalability, build/maintenance time and cloud compatibility) , in comparison to node.js, php and python. Few programmers wrote on Reddit that they are replacing python code with Golang for the apps that are already in production.
Superior a strong word for that. I would say it makes it easier to deal with concurrency than other languages. IMO the CSP paradigm is easy to grasp and not fuck things up when you do try to scale. That said great language to learn.
Thanks.
Superior in what sense? Those programmers on reddit probably also think Rust will take over C++.
Thanks for attention. By superiority i meant performance, scalability, build/maintenance time and cloud compatibility
