Hi guys, Have a Coderpad for Goldman Sachs coming up next week. Was told this is for back-end/full-stack position in their Dallas office and it’s an associate-level role. The interview will be 1 hr and 15 minutes which seems a little long for a phone round?? I only have info on this role at a new grad level, like it’s 100k TC in Salt Lake City, Utah and phone is LC easy/medium….I assume it’s similar for associate/experienced role except maybe some harder LC questions and a bit more TC? For prep, I’m just going through the tagged questions right now as there are only 74 in the last 6 months. Is there anything else I should do? Focus on behavioral as well maybe? Any insight would be greatly appreciated, thank you!
Lc easy and sometimes medium. They can also ask questions on databases. What team are you interviewing with in Dallas?
Thanks! Not really sure tbh, they just said the position was for a full-stack/back-end swe. I assume I’ll learn more if I continue to the next round
GS tagged LC. Not too many to study
Thank you! Will continue to grind tagged then
Noob question but where do I find the tagged coder pad questions on here?
GS tagged qn should be almost fine
Thanks!!
GS tagged Questions, Make sure you provide brief answer along with time and space complexity. Try to provide couple of ways to solve and go for optimal way.
Will do, ty!
Leetcode easy plus medium. If you Have good understanding of data structures and algorithm, then you are good. Be confident and share your thoughts with the interviewer. Make sure they know what and how you are solving the problem and you'll be fine. You should also understand optimization of code big O notations.
That’s great to hear, thanks for the advice!
I give much harder interviews... But I'm not doing your coder pad tomorrow 😂
Why Goldman?
I mean better than a WITCH right, and it’s the only interview I’ve got so far other than Amazon. Plus it’s good interview practice regardless so I want to try my best
