Curious about what is the new grad TC (and breakup) for a new grad (IIT and non-IIT) at GS India #goldmansachs TC : 30L YOE : 2
For IITs: Base - 21,00,000 INR Supplemental Salary - 7,00,000 INR (supplemental salary is an accrued bonus paid out in monthly installments pro-rated from the date of joining, this is only applicable during the first year of joining) One-time Payment 3,50,000 INR Exact CTC details sent by GS this year
Why would they pay IIT and non-IT differently? I can understand BS and MS
No idea, also base for non iits is 15L no idea about total TC
Iit: Strat, tech strat: 21/7/3.5 They don't hire tech analysts from IIT Non iit: Strat, tech strat: 21/7/3.5(usually top 3 nit, IIIT, DCE, bits, nsit) Tech analyst: 16/4/2
Can you explain the breakup? What does this 7 and 3.5 stand for? No stocks afaik.
No stock. 3.5 is signon. 7 is perf bonus
How does WLB vary for those in Analyst positions and those in Strats?
Starts is quite hectic at GS as far as I have seen with friends, late nights mostly
Depends on team. Some teams at strats are hectic. Tech analysts fewer teams are hectic. Overall GS culture is a lot better than tech culture. Also mostly no or very little pip
32L, with around 22L base
@voyna Is this for new grads who started this year? What is the breakup? Is this excluding the joining bonus? Also, IIT vs non-IIT?
