Good teams for Facebook SWE internship?
Advice appreciated from folks at Fb! What are some of the good teams to work for and likely to land a return offer? Ads/Messenger/Core Apps/Instagram/Growth? Please share! Thanks.
Pick one that you feel excited about. Your performance is the only thing that matters for a return offer. There's no org-specific headcount or things like that, so you're not more likely to receive a return offer in one org than in another.

None of us would know that. There are so many projects I wouldn't worry about that. You might not get your first pick either.

OP probably has an offer. After you have an offer, you're asked to select your top 3 choices for orgs.
Exactly, need to fill out some preference survey for placement. Having a hard time to decide..
Really depends what you're into. Frontend / backend / ml?
Had some full stack experience, also into ML (I can see a lot of people will want to choose ML..)
Sounds like you're not really sure then what you want to work on. I joined as a grad but I didn't intern here, but bootcamp is a great way to find what you're into. Take the internship as an opportunity to work on something you're good at and might be interested in, and then if you get an offer you can use bootcamp to try other stuff.
Pick whatever maximizes your chance at a return offer if this is your last internship. Typically this means picking something you’re already good at. Once you get a return offer, then you can explore. This is the most strategic way of approaching imo. Pm me if you want more info. I was also a fb intern before and I got a return offer

Pick a product you are excited about. Don't go for generic ML stuff.

Whatsapp is the best place to work at FB.
