Google @Business System Analyst L4
I have 14 years of work experience, Google recruiter told me that HC has cleared me for L4, currently looking for team match. 1. I think L4 is little lower side for my experience(??) Any tips to negotiate for L5 and good salary. ? 2. Any guess for salary for L4 and L5 for BSA ? 3. And at what time should I negotiate for level/salary. Before written offer or after ? Don't want to loose it. Location -Sunnyvale Technology - SAP
L4 with 14 years experience is super low.
Thanks Ben. Do you think I should raise it with recruiter right away for wait for formal offer letter? Team match and executive review is still pending . As I said I don't want to loose it.
I think you can ask for more interviews after the offer or show competing offers. If you search for “google downlevel” here you’ll find plenty of posts.

@OP - Didn't you give them your initial expectation for compensation? If so, how much was it? They may be taking that into account.
