No innovation No WFH Awful tech stack Low TC No ownership I rest my case 🤮 Edit: Compare this to even Amazon.. WFH High TC Innovative Good tech stacks used by other companies Engineers have strong ownership Meta crushes Google even harder.
Amazon is literally the worst company in F500
Is the worst for the employees for sure, however google is just trying to catch aws with gcp. Market share wise: aws > azure > gcp
Who cares about that? From an employee perspective aws is the worst company to work for. Market share doesn’t matter to us.
Google does have WFH…
I see some Google postings listed as remote…..
Not too far from the truth. Not too far.
Someone said Amazon pays monthly 😅 is that true?
Depends on location, some is every 2 weeks, but Seattle is once a month. I like it though, makes dealing with finances easier. Get paid at the beginning/end of each month. Then I pay rent, pay off my credit card in whole each month and move the rest to my investments. I only have to think about money once a month
What about nyc. Any idea
Google isn't the best for any of these but they offer a solid balance of each.
Failed the phone screen huh?
🎯
😂
No innovation? Deepmind? AI? They just got one of the leaders in machine learning. Google is the stock to buy. Quantum computing? Self driving vehicles? Waymo?
Not to mention all the chat apps
Apple Exec recently quit to move to Google cuz Google has WFH.
Not an exec but the point still stands
