Google Android phone interview?
Spoke to a recruiter that mentioned that I had the option between a general SWE phone interview or an Android-focused one. Is this a new process? Anyone have any insight on it? TC: 150k YOE: 1 #google

I did this before and basically the only difference was one round the interviewer asked me about shared prefs. It was barely android focused

So it's basically standard whiteboarding question(s) with a hint of Android?

Pretty much. It was like just framed around some android concept. So basically made no difference
I've heard of them doing this for front-end, not sure what it would entail for android
I think it's the same style as front-end, do you have experience with that one particular?
No sorry have never dealt with them before, but there is a video I've heard is fairly accurate by Clement Mihailescu about the google front end interview
