Have a google recruiter call on Monday. What to give for base salary expectations? Role : Technical account manager Location: Nashville Current tc : 120k YOE: 6
How are you guys avoiding this when they’re asking early in the interview process??
You just insist that you can talk about it later
Avoid giving specific numbers at the begining stages of the interview even if they prompt you to.
I'm not sure why u are getting so many posts saying not to provide expectations...but you should provide expectations otherwise u will get a generic low to mid range salary. Pls make sure u provide ur recruiter with your expectations so they can advocate for u. Trust, recruiters at Google truly advocate highly for their candidates, we want u to get a good offer and accept...we def don't work against the candidates. Levels.fyi can give u a little insight but think about what number u need to really give u what u need to be happy.
