It's funny, before ever visiting Google's campus in San Jose and the surrounding area, I thought it would be an amazing place with palm trees and next to a beach with great restaurants everywhere! And then I visited and I was so disappointed! The campus is cool but the surround area truly sucks. Same with Apple. For some reason I was thinking a place like pepperdine university or Austin lol. BTW what is the brown apartment building looking place across from Googleplex? Is that a dorm?
That’s something of sf Bay Area. From exterior / appearance you’ll not guess how cool / rich the person/ company is. Hiding in plain sight Just an observation
Well said. Couldn’t agree more!
It is what it is. Maybe transfer to a LA/Venice team to be closer to a beach
No it's fine. I'm just saying, it was a major disappointment from my imagination lol

What level would Zuck be, had he not created FB
My understanding is Google moved into their HQ in mountain view and their expansion grew so quickly they quickly bought out or rented EVERYTHING within shoreline. So imagine your local dentist being converted into a Google office. It's why it's so weird. Some of the offices in Sunnyvale are super cool. My understanding is the REWS architects are located there so of course they have the coolest buildings
