Interviewed onsite a week ago for a Developer Advocate interview. Recruiter called back today, managed to get some feedback (surprisingly): -people skills and communication was top notch -experience with APIs, helping developers, etc was top notch -coding..."was mixed". Some questions you absolutely blew them out of the water. Some were less good - possibly didn't run, or were incomplete, etc. (she said "I'm not technical so I'm not sure" at this point. Really wanted it. That being said, she said I did overall fairly well and should try again in 6 months. What do now? Leetcoder?
Mine was on the 13th. Did you feel you were going to get it? I feel I sucked in one of the 4 interviews but so far, haven't been rejected
Yes! I felt like everything went exceptionally well (regarding the 5 actual interviews), although my presentation went somewhat mediocrely - i couldn't use the presenter mode in Powerpoint because the presentation was in Google Hangouts (no second monitor), so I pulled up my notes on my blackberry and held the blackberry in one hand and the clicker in the other, and gave the presentation... It almost feels like... -what did I do wrong? -is the competition legitimately that high? (Am I stupid?) -i thought I was good...maybe not. Now I work at a lousy company in Connecticut...this terrible state lacks any tech industry of value...sandwiched between New York and Massachusetts...it sucks. I may have made a mistake taking this job, but I wanted back to the east coast badly (was at Microsoft in Seattle). It's better lifewise, but TC is hell. (Company = Acuity Brands)
Oh man, well keep it up. If you thought you did that well it's only a matter of time until you join one of the FANGs
Sounds like did an awesome job! I have heard it’s usually a year before you can do another on-site. If you only have to wait 6 months, sounds like you were extremely close.
What sorts of coding questions were you asked? Id assume they’d be pretty simple, no?
Were you a software eng before?

'Hindutva': The Radical Hindu Ideology That Seeks to 'Push Christianity Out of India’
Damn, the bar is so high there. You said you had your onsites last week? Was it in the beginning or later in the week? I ask because I also had onsites there a week ago but haven't heard back yet (though it has not been a full week yet for me)
Onsite on Friday, May 11th.
