I had my hangouts interviews about 2 weeks ago. My interview feedback was good. My application reached the hiring committee stage. However I have heard back from recruiter that she is waiting to hear if they will prioritize this role for hiring or not. Anyone in a similar situation? What are the chances now? What are the options for me if they say they are not hiring at the moment? Can I ask them to take their time and let me know the decision after 4 or 5 months? #career #google #engineeringresidency #hiring #offer #hiringcommittee
Did they also mention that the offer isn’t guaranteed? It seems like Google is still figuring out reprioritization
The offer ofc is not guaranteed. My application needs an approval from Hiring Committee. And then I have to match with at least one team.
Same thing happened to my friend as well. His last interview was on April first week. Lastly he heard from recruiter was they are still thinking which roles they are going to hire.
The same thing happened to me too. I've been waiting since April to hear back from the recruiter. Last I heard, they would give some more information towards the end of the month (May)
How's igoing? t
So I got feedback yesterday. I got the offer!
Just talked to my recruiter at Google Irvine this morning, they said my packet passed HC, im negotiating salary right now, and they told me the same thing that they needed another approval and that they didn't know how long that would take....
Thank you for sharing. Is it for engineering resident role? How long ago was your last interview?
For L3 SDE position, my final rounds of interviewers were mid April
