Google HWE position L5 offer expectation
I’ve got approval from HC and waiting for exec’s approval and initial offer. I was told my level will be 5. After reasonable negotiation, how much total offer package (and if possible, breaking down base salary, initial RSU, signing bonus, cash bonus target, etc) would be? I don’t have a competing offer, though. And the recruiter didn’t ask and I didn’t provide my current comp. For reference, I have 12+ years industry experience with master’s degree, only if it matters. He only asked my expectations and I’m supposed to tell him by tomorrow.

Yes, I got an initial offer today. It looks good. I’ll ask just a little more and see what they say.
If you’re comfortable, it would be great to share to help others in a similar situation. You may even want to share before you counter to get feedback. Blind seems to have a lot of discussion on L4 roles but not as much data on L5/6.
