Google L3 Offer
Per my recruiter, looks like I’m getting the following offer from Youtube this week. Negotiated the offer once up from initial ~200k TC. Location: Bay Area, (YouTube) Base: 152k Stocks: 130k (front loaded, 43k first year) Sign-on: 15k 15% Target bonus: 23k First year TC: 233k Currently L4 @ AMZN in MCOL with varying WLB from 30-50 hrs/wk (averages out to about 40/wk), average/low interest in current project, not really thinking I have a shot for promo in the next year, maybe in 1-2 yrs if I stayed. YOE: 1 TC: ~150k Good offer for 1 YOE & MCOL -> HCOL transition?
What did you say to negotiate? Any competing offers?
No competing offers, my original offer was 144k base, 22k target bonus, 100k stocks, no sign on to which I said that I'm looking more for 210-225k TC range and they came back with these numbers which is right in the middle of that range if you exclude sign on
How long did it take you to get the offer, from on-site to the finish?
I had some weird scheduling for my on sites so they were spread across Nov - early December, did team matching during January and just finally ended up getting the offer letter yesterday
So ~4 months. Had you already had 1 yoe prior to the onsites?
