Recently got an offer from Google L4 Seattle Base 150k RSU 320k / 4 Bonus 15% TC 252k No competing offer and non negotiable Current TC: 150k (lowballed hard) Yoe: 3

this is not great but good. you may increase a little more but good thing is you will have Google and Microsoft on your resume with only 3 yoe. in couple years, you can double your salary with this leverage

You’re not factoring in refreshers. Also you’re not mentioning a sign on bonus? I think you’re tc would be closer to 285 if you factor in refreshers.

I am not sure why everyone is saying this is only "good". Its actually a great offer. If you just factor in state taxes, this is equivalent to a ~$290k tc in Bay area. Not even calculating the CoL. With no competing offers, this means you must have done your interviews pretty good! Congrats on the great offer, OP!

Hi OP! Congrats on the great offer. I had a couple of questions for you: How were the interviews in terms of LC difficulty? What kind of Data Structures were they focused on? Also, were you able to solve all the questions asked? TIA
Thanks! for LC difficulty, its medium - hard. For the medium loops, it was either 1 medium and follow-up or 2 separate mediums. All questions were graph related (tree, trie, graph) and some DP. I bombed one hard loop and I think i did very well on other loops. Maybe 1 question was not as optimal as the interviewer wants for space complexity.
What is your secret, OP? Eating a lot of banana jam before the interviews? ;)
Looks pretty average for Google but it seems Google only gives out very good offers if you have other strong ones. Certainly not bad tho for Seattle
